Rapid.Tech 3D - 3D Pioneers Challenge
The FOCUS of the 2024 competition is "Collaborative Mindset " - the mutual, open attitude of working cooperatively and courageously towards common goals. Where are realistic applications in the industry and which best practices are already being implemented? The 3D Pioneers Challenge seeks out and supports the pioneers who are pursuing precisely these ground-breaking approaches. The creative innovations with long-term appeal, as well as operational projects that drive the implementation of additive technologies in the established manufacturing industry.
The 2024 competition is organized under the focus "Collaborative Mindset" - in eleven different disciplines, which are derived from the questions "WHAT, HOW, WHY ... we design and make".
WHAT: MedTech, Design, FashionTech, Mobility, Architecture
HOW: Digital, Electronics, Machinery, Material, Industrial
WHY: Sustainabillity

The multi-stage jury process is complete - 43 finalists have been selected from the total submissions from 25 countries on 5 continents. One trend is clearly recognizable: Responsible production (the use and development of sustainable materials and recyclable processes) is a clear focus for the finalists of this year's 3D Pioneers Challenge.
3DPC finalists live in Erfurt
The finalist and winning projects will be exhibited in the 3DPC special area (2-509) at Rapid.Tech 3D.
The award ceremony will take place as a highlight on the second day of the trade fair (May 15) from 3:30 p.m. on the 3DPC stand area.
In addition, presentations by the 3D Pioneers Challenge finalists will also provide exciting insights on the stage in Hall 2 on May 15.

The winners of the 8th edition of the international design competition for additive manufacturing and advanced technologies were announced under the motto "RESILIENCE. NOW. Advanced Technologies to enable a sustainable tomorrow."
In 2023, projects in nine different disciplines were awarded prizes with a total value of EUR 185,000. The 3DPC2023 Winner MedTech and Main Prize Winner was MATTISSE LATTICE MEDICAL.
The prize money of EUR 35,000 was provided with the kind support of the Thuringian Ministry of Economics, Science and Digital Society.
