In this presentation, the audience will gain an insight into the methods of LPBF quality assurance. In addition, a new method for defect detection in Laser Powder Bed Fusion (LPBF) will be presented, which uses a high-resolution line scan camera and a pre-trained Deep Convolutional Neural Network.
